I was thinking about how Chris Bosh showed up at the Lakers game in LA. He wants the spotlight clearly, he likes the atmosphere of hollywood and the stars. He wants to be the goto guy and the guy they build around, he was campaigning for votes, he is always interacting with fans, he loves marketing. So naturally a big city like LA would make sense for him. Now clippers have money, and a decent supporting cast. If you are LA clippers, would you trade blake griffin for Chris Bosh? Then you have a pretty damn good supporting cast surrounding him that could take em to playoffs next year. Baron Davis, Eric Gordon, FA small forward or from draft(aminu?), Chris Bosh, Chris Kaman. That is dangerous team, he is the undisputed star and goto guy, and its in a huge market.

    Thoughts?

nah. if he's going to la, it's to the lakers. it'd be a bynum for bosh deal. after winning a title, he can ask for a trade to a team where he'd be the goto guy. or wait until kobe retires.

agreed. the clippers have money so no need for a trade. just sign bosh and you have a deadly line up both offensivley and defensifly.

    PG baron davis
    SG eric gordon
    SF griffin
    PFbosh
    C Kaman

yea I don't get how LA would work, if they traded for BYNUm, neither paul or bosh are natural centers and don't fit on the court together, not to mention throwing odom artest and kobe on there...

but clippers work, reason for a trade would be because of a Sign and trade which Bosh might prefer to get the high contract if he resigns with raptors and then does a a trade. I think he is work Griffin, although its hard to let go of a no 1 pick, I would think griffin's ceiling is not as high as where bosh already is. I don't like griffin at the SF anyways, his shooting isn't great, nor is his ball handle to play perimiter, and he can't keep up with today's sf. He is a pure PF

Nooooo. Not just because I want him here, but because I like Bosh. That would be a good team, on paper, but in 38 years of existence, the franchise has 1 playoff series win.

Why that team continues to share a city, hell the same building, as such a storied franchise as the Lakers is beyond me. I wonder how the percentage of Laker to Clipper fans looks? California has enough teams anyway. I say try again to get a new stadium built in Seattle. They still have rights to a cool team name, logo, and mascot. Its too awesome a city not to have a basketball team.

"I wish I could have fought a little bit harder in Seattle when the team was moving. We never thought that would happen. We just always assumed it was going to get taken care of. That's a disappointing thing in my career." Quote Ray Allen, in the middle of the 2010 NBA Finals. Disappointing? Hey Ray, you do realize the new owner traded you to a championship team, right?
