All 3 officials missed it WITH replay? Nazr Mohammed pushed LeBron much softer (on the second push) and he got ejected.
Meh, almost the exact same situation as last season, when Haslem got suspended for Game 6 for his two-hand chop on Hansbroooooo.
Wow Stern actually got this one right...(actually really he just made sure that there will be a game 7)
Oh, how will the heat ever survive game 6 without birdman? Oh wait, didn't they win a championship last year without him?
LOL, this. Typical clutchfans over-reaction... you would think they suspended LeBron. Oh yeah, Vegas line has not budged one bit in reaction to the news. Miami still favored by 2.5.
Last post on this topic - Miami closed out in game 6 last season with no Bosh, no Haslem, and no Birdman. Ronny Turiaf (lol) started at C and got 10 min, Joel Anthony played 34 min, and Juwan Howard played the other 4. Not saying this will have no effect, but it's not nearly as important as people think. Important would be if Wade/Bosh/Allen continue playing like poop.
And Miami didn't have Ray Allen last year. Since when does Chris Anderson make or break Miami beating the hapless pacers or not? He only plays about 14 minuts per game anyways.
Ray Allen has been close to useless. He's one of my fav players of all time too. Hopefully he steps up. What I've learned from this series is that George Hill is TERRIBLE. We b**** about Lin not being able to play PG...how has this dude ever played the position? He can't dribble well. Can't pass. Doesn't make good decisions. Chokes at the end of games. All he can do is spot up shoot and even then its shaky. Indy needs a real PG.
Birdman's impact has been more on the offensive end...playing as a spark off the bench...this means that Bosh/Wade has to look to drop 35 points, Haslem with like 10, Mario with 15, Lebron with 30, and Allen/Battier/Cole adding 20..while really possible...they would have to shoot really well...and make shots...they are more than capable...but realistically a bigger inside presence can be so much more disruptive...That is Birdman tremendous value...To help defend the Indy bigs...to compare the last years team to this one is really faulty logic...It is all about the energy off the bench that is key... Therefore the keys to win in Indy is simple: 1. Shoot better than 50% 2. Stiffling perimeter defense 3. Everyone not name Lebron has to contribute atleast 60 points... 4. oh and face a ticked off Pacer team and rowdy fan base...Going to be tough, but Miami has the clear mental advantage in game 6 with all the pressure on Indy. If they did learn something from last year...we will have a game 7...if not...Game 1 of the NBA finals will start on June 6th
League is always more protective of their more marketable players/teams. They really should have suspended Wade in this series too.
