Sign me up for Barry and who I presume to be a lock, Charles Oakley (not that that would be my second pick, but I can see the writing on the wall).

    Francis/Barry/Moochie
    Mobley/Pike
    Barry/Boki/Pike
    Griffin/MoT/Oakley
    Ming/Cato/Oakley

That would make a nine man rotation (perhaps too large for JVG, but I'd love to see Barry in the G/SF mix. Dude can play. Oakley will be our 8 - 10 mpg enforcer. If you ran a lineup of Francis, Pike, Barry, Oakley and Ming (in short minutes), you would have a group that could shoot, pass, enforce and board....for 8 - 10 mpg :D

Jim Jackson could probly help quite a bit. Wouldn't mind getting Coleman of course, but can the Rox afford him? Hell, I wouldn't mind getting Tyrone Hill, he's still pretty tough.

Is Byron Russell really only 32? He seems like a baby on that list. If Posey is really gone, I'll take Russell as his replacement.

Jim Jackson. He played great last year, and we can afford him.

Also depends if the Rox do anything via trades; what spot would we have to fill? But looking at our team as is, we need a 3.

Barry is a lock to sign with Indiana; he's just waiting on the Reggie deal to get done. Sacramento is going to retain Jim Jackson that is why they cleared out Hedo. Just because the Rox said they were going after a veteran doesn't mean they are raiding the old folks home. In my opinion Robert Pack or mark Jackson would be excellentin a backup point role. I also have no problem bringing back the 'Wiz' but Raja Bell would also be a nice option.

I really think we should get kendall gill. There is almost no way the twolves will resign him with their current plethora of talent and players, and kendall gill is just the kind of 3 we need: defensive minded, one who runs the court, and can hit the outside shot.

Tim Hardaway and Steve Smith. Both have excellent range, and both have valuable experience. We need some help at the 3 and the point, so this would be perfect. Unless we get rid of MoT or re-sign Posey, in which case I'd prefer Hardaway and Oakley.

I think we will resign Hawk and TMo to back up the 2, 3 and 4.
Hardway or Blaylock to backup the 1.
Willis, Samaki, Rooks, or Massenberg to back up the 4, 5.

I also would look at Mark Jackson - he's the kind of savvy veteran point that we need as a backup.

Shawn Kemp and an army of personal trainers. Dude's only 33, there's gotta be something left in the tank other than cocaine.
