Can anyone elaborate instead of just saying he's injured?

No big deal. Yao was trying to take a charge and his chin was cut by the elbow of a Lebanon player.

First half China 50-23. Yao 8 pts, China as a team is 76% from field and 86% from line.

According to Sina, they broke his chin, bled, and went to the locker room. Let's hope it's not too serious.

From what I understand, Qatar has some naturalized US bball players, so they're actually one of the top Asian teams.

He got an elbow to the chin and was knocked to the floor. He was bleeding but was not badly injured.
