China is 2-3 but is on the rise, playing better and better with each game. Yao has been thoroughly dominant throughout, and is starting to get help from his team-mates, particularly Wang Zhi Zhi. Good inside game. Imposing size. Streaky outside shooting. Suspect ball-handling under pressure.

Greece is 5-0 but has lost one of their key contributors - Zisis. Can't say much more about them since I haven't actually seen them play, but I hear they play a great team game - motion offense with great passing and shooting.

I'm hoping that China can pull off the upset and continue to game confidence in the international scene. Good drama. Better than the NCAA's IMHO, except that there's a prohibitive favorite.

I want Yao to rest now for the coming season. Yes i'm too unselfish but China's not going too far anyway..

40% vs 60% in favor in Greece, but China does have a shot, that's all you can ask for.

As unselfish as Mother Teresa ehh? :p .

I am going with Yao and China, though tis going to take more than just Yao for China to stand a chance. I don't think their guards are going to fare well at all.

Rooting for Yao and his scrub has the underdog flavor to it, but they gonna get destroyed.

    FYI,

Freaking japanese just changed the original schedule of this game without any reason. Now the match will be on 9pm EST Saturday. For our viewers in the states this is good, but for chinese players they have to play a very early morning game.

LOL ... doesn't that mean it'll be about 3am Sunday morning in Europe? What the hell is with accommodating Greek fans' needs?

I am not saying it is helping Greeks.. the point is changing schedule without reasons.

According to all reports, the game will take place at 2 PM Greek time, exactly in order to accomodate the Greek viewers ;)

Let's not talk about pigs and focus on the game. Besides, I think you made a mistake on the time.

FIBA website says 8PM japanese time on sunday. Which means it'll be 7AM eastern, 6AM central, but it'll be sometime in the afternoon for Greeks. So yes they did get accommodated.
