Urban Cowboy (fine, fergit it!!!!) Jerry McQuire (admit it, you liked this movie) She's Having A Baby (Bacon is hilarious in this movie) Brokeback Mountian (just kidding)
Spiderbabe, is that the one where she shoot webs out of her love hole when she orgasms? Not that I watch those sort of things, I just heard that.
never saw brokeback, but i liked all of those movies. i have a hard time calling Maguire a chick flick, though. there's certainly that in his relationship with the girl...but the overarching story about his "redemption" from that business is not chick flickish to me. nor are the great NFL scenes!
Scarface. "You can't tell me what to do, Tony. No more -- I am not a baby any more. I'll do what I wanna do, I'll see whoever I wanna see, and if I wanna fu(k'im, Tony, then I'll fu(k'im!" Chics totally dig it.
Jerry Maguire is just as much about sports as it is chick stuff. Plus it was nominated for Best Picture and written/directed by Cameron Crowe who made the finest chick flick of all time, Say Anything, so I don't see the shame in liking the film. The Cutting Edge. Now there's a cheesy movie that I can't help but like. Of course it doesn't hurt that Moira Kelly was a hottie back in the day and she had a great love/hate thing going in that flick with D.B. Sweeney. Speaking of Moira Kelly, it's a chick TV show instead of a flick, but One Tree Hill is a guilty pleasure of mine. There's something I'm ashamed to admit I watch.
Muriel's Wedding Pride and Prejudice - 1995 BBS version I own both on DVD and NO!!, I'm not turning in my man card!!
I like a lot, maybe even, most chick flicks. I'm not ashamed to like any of them. I also love most of the macho movies as well. I just like movies period. I can think of two that I didn't like in my lifetime. One was Stargate and the other was a movie about nuns with Glenda Jackson made in the early 70s.
I may never reclaim my man card again, but I really have to get this off my chest.. Under The Tuscan Sun It's the epitome of chick flicks: by chicks, about chicks, for chicks. And I loved it
An Officer and a Gentleman But I'm not ashamed to like it, and it's not even a chick flick. Though because that iconic ending has been parodied a million times, a lot of people forget that it's a pretty damn good movie, so I just wanted to bring it up.
