R.I.P. Curious if this will have any effect on their Sunday closure policy or selective regional avoidance (i.e. no CFAs in Las Vegas).
I hope they stick with their values and providing good food instead of chasing the all mighty dollar. I would hate to see it go downhill like Wendys.
And, he ate a fried chicken sandwich every day of his life since opening Chick-Fil-A. Ok...I made that up.
Who's hungry for a snack? <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>It’s snack time, you guys! <a href="http://t.co/gAbwrQU2MO">pic.twitter.com/gAbwrQU2MO</a></p>— Wendy's (@Wendys) <a href="https://twitter.com/Wendys/status/504720098230169600">August 27, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> just a guess, 2500 calories? 2.5 days worth of salt?
I appreciate what he did for the everyday fast food worker. He gave his workers Sunday off, higher wages relative to other fast food chains, and taught them the importance of customer service. Rest in peace.
RIP to a good man. Hopefully chickfilla wont change like KFC did when colonel sanders died, or recently when wendys changed after dave thomas died. I'm waiting for the anti fastfood nuts(or liberal nuts) to blame his death on fastfood(or his religious beliefs). he was 93
Best service in the business. Sign of a great leader and culture. Hopefully the family carries on the legacy.
Shoot. I was coming to this thread hoping to take a cheap shot at some political group, but you were faster to the punch. On the real, whatever he was eating and however he was living must have been working. Kudos and RIP.
I'm not sure how Wendy's has really changed post-Dave. Anyways, a big difference is Chick-fil-a is still controlled by the Cathys, while Wendy's and KFC were not controlled by their respective founders' families.
