Last night I was just searching the net, when I stumbled onto Bulls4ever.com. This trade was just floating around there so I wanted to see if you guys would do it? Chicago trades: #2 pick to Golden State potentially cap filler to Houston or Golden State Golden State trades: #3 pick to Houston Antawn Jamison to Houston potentially cap filler to Houston or Chicago Houston trades: Steve Francis to Chicago Glen Rice to Golden State potentially cap filler to Golden State or Chicago With the #2 pick, Golden State drafts Jay Williams With the #3 pick, Houston drafts DaJuan Wagner That leaves each team w/ these lineups: Bulls lineup: Curry Chandler Rose Francis Crawford Golden State lineup: Foyle/Dampier Fortson Rice Richardson Williams Houston lineup: Ming Jamison Griffin Mobley Wagner I personally wouldn't do it but I wanna see yall's opinions.
Hell no we don't make that trade! We're basically trading Francis for Wagner. Jamison wants to play PF, but he seems to struggle there when he does, the tweener syndrome. The only thing that trade showed me is what fans from other teams must feel like when we come up with crazy trade ideas.
I would not do this trade. I would not give up Steve for Jamison and the #3. We have our big man, we have a pg, we have our sg, we have our pfs, we have our role players and we have our front office. All we need is some time, luck and patience and we will get to the promise land.
ROFLMAO! that's pretty bad, francis at this point is worth about 4 wagners not to mention he'd be out of position as would griffin with jamison at the 4. we're not the only ones who come up with lopsided trades for our team.
i'm really glad this trade was posted... now maybe people on this forum can see how RIDICULOUS their garnett trade proposals look... that trade (on a chicago fan site) sounds just like most of the trades proposed for big name stars on this site. FOOLISH!
Wow! I'm just glad to see that all of yall agree w/ me not to do the trade. It just shows that the fanbase here is much more sensible than the one in Chicago! I agree, trading a proven (Francis) for an unproven, who even if he lives up to potential maybe half of Francis, (Wagner) is ridiculous. Those Chicago fans just want Francis & so they think they can jip us & GS to get him.
Dajuan Wagner is not worthy of being a top 3 pick maybe not even a top 10. Hell, if we were able to get that high of a pick along with Ming, then we better damn well pick Caron.
