[CHEVY] The convertible Camaro concept car

It has to be humiliating for GM having to watch Ford beat them to the punch.

 

That there....is my next car!

 

You guys actually think the production model will look anything like that concept?

... and for those that didn't know, bumblebee from the transformers movie is going to be the new camaro. if you can pause quick enough in the new trailer, it's barely visible.

Interesting, since the Camaro has pretty much dominated the Mustang since the dawn of time.

Aside from the angle of the A pillar and the resulting shape of the window, the body lines are almost identical.

Either way I'm generally not fond of this new trend to make sports cars all bloated and bulky. I like 'em low and lean.

 

They are supposed to be a return to the classic muscle cars that originated the models. I for one like the new Camaro and the new Mustang about 100 times more than the nineties versions of same.

 

I like the camaro better, but the mustang in that photo...wow.

I am digging this retro muscle car trend. I am sure that I will never be able to import them here to NZ, but those cars look awesome.

The mustang, charger and camarro are NOT sports cars. They are muscle cars.

I usually don't like retro trends...but this I'm definitely diggin (the early nineties version of the mustang and camaro sucked).

 

The Camaro is still ugly (just like the old ones were). And yeah, they tried too hard to rip off the Mustang.

Now I can dig that Challenger. THAT is how you do a retro look.

 

I was referring to the fact that Ford beat them to the muscle car look. Its only taken GM 2-3 years to catch up, and they had to take the Camaro/Firebird off the market to do it (not to mention learn from mistakes made with the GTO (the first true muscle car)).
