    Disgusting. Just disgusting.

I'm sure this thread will degenerate and get locked, considerng that my last two threads "Clinton hospitalized" and "Daily show is funny" managed to get locked, but for those of you who can think rationally about politics still without throwing out asinine one liners or venomous, ranting screeds, I hope you would agree that this kind of talk from Cheney represents the very worst kind of tactic.

Um, I hate to break this to you, but what Cheney says is TRUE.

John Kerry's actions after Vietnam gave the enemy an entire new method of attack -- a public relations war. John Kerry is responsible for POWs being tortured in Vietnam, and he is in large part responsible for al Queda's strategy against the US.

    Admins, please lock this thread.

It started out bad and will only get worse.

I guess my preface was like Nikolai Volkoff requesting people not chant "USA" during the playing of the Soviet national anthem back in the 80's WWF. Asking people not to contribute trollish, insulting pointless insults is like putting a kick me sign on your back.

    I'm sorry I started it.

    scorecard:
    1. Jorge: trollish tangent
    2. Iroc it: pointless one liner/insult
    3. Texxx: one liner, at least marginally on topic, though he presents no evidence in support of it
    4. Iroc it: (again) pointless one liner

I don't see anything wrong with what he said. It's a very real concern that the public should be aware of. The sensitive approach to terror is not the answer.

I got a look at the Nepalese judge's scorecard. Looks like you've done some damage. The French and the German judges are in his corner so watch out!

George Bush is responsible for soldiers dying in Iraq, and he is in large part responsible for al Queda's success against the U.S.

I dont see how anything Bush has done has stopped terrorism, if anything it has sparked the terrorists who till now were quite in Iraq and has dragged MANy Many more countries into this whole ring of victims of terrorsits than before.

so cheney needs to go back into that hole hes been hiding in ever since 9-11

    Balanced Scorecard:

    0. Fisher - misquoted, out of context... but linked
    1. T_J - mostly FACTUAL, though slanted
    2. IROC it - stating the obvious... though unwarranted
    3. An original apology of sorts... then a retort with "scores"
    4. bigtexxx - opinionated, yet no personal attack
    5. IROC it - another misunderstood post... but who's counting?
    6. giddyup - tongue in cheek humor and nothing more.

    Looks even to me.

How did Sam misquote anything? Cheney tried to say that by not voting for Bush/Cheney you are risking another terrorist attack.

That means be afraid if you don't vote us. I feel sorry for people who vote out of fear.

The same freaking trolls back to derail just about every thread with the same rabid bull****. If the admins aren't going to kick the guys who do nothing BUT troll and derail they might as well close this forum. A lot of us are trying really hard to be respectful around here but it is so god damn hard to ignore these guys in virtually every thread. They're not sincere, they're not thoughtful, they're not funny. They are only trolls.

I think it is obvious that the hit he is talking about resides in the music industry. The Dem ticket holds no promise of the big bounce obtained from John Ashcroft and his economy-driving Christian rock empire.

Trolls: Those who don't agree with what the D&D libs have to say.

And to get back on topic: Cheney may not have worded it the way I would have but I do think the country would be more vunerable to attack under Kerry given what is known about him.

It's only referred to as "trolling" when it hurts the liberals' feelings. If you can't dispute the facts, blame it on trolling. If your opponent frustrates you to the point of anger, demand that they be banned. It's the same old song and dance from the angry, bitter liberals.

Will all you liberals leave the board for good after the election? Should be interesting to watch...

    No, Faos.

Trolls = people who do nothing but pick fights and try to get under people's skin. One of them here has proudly crowed it is a tactic of his to try and piss people off. That's a troll. For the life of me I can't understand why the mods hate this forum but won't discipline the chief offenders.

And I wasn't talking about you. I disagree with pretty much everything you post in here but I'd never accusing you of trolling.

Faos, I have to call a spade a spade. This BS. I think most of the libs on this board truly enjoy debating the issues, and welcome disagreement. I know I do. But trying to respond with attacks and diverging from the topic and posting dishonest, distorted posts in an effort to get a rise out of the other side rather than debating is definitely trolling.

Because being good at diplomacy, inreasing intelligence spending, and using specail forces to hit terrorists before they strike at us, means we will all be slaughtered.
