http://bbs.msnbc.com/bbs/sports-womansbb/posts/ei/9676.asp Make sure and read the responses to the thread and check the isp's. "Why ya talkin to ya self?" LOL!!!! Man, that is too much! And just for morbid curiosity, read this one and check its isp. Unbelievable! http://bbs.msnbc.com/bbs/sports-womansbb/posts/qj/9714.asp ------------------ "No one gets out ALIVE!" Well, it could be somebody on the same dial-up host, but different people. Then again, that's just too freaky. If it is the same person, at least he waited about an hour before responding to himself... lol! ------------------ ?
At least we know it wasn't Jenna doing it. Mango ------------------ The Serious Police are watching Donate Blood
Doesn't Frank run that site? Does clutch know this man personally. I think someone needs to tell Clutch that Frank needs a hug!
Actually, Dr, it couldn't be two different people because rr stands for Road Runner, so this is a cable modem with a set IP, not a dialup ISP. Pathetic. ------------------ "No one gets out ALIVE!" SaveOurRockets.com
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!! LOL!!! Oh sweet mother.... best laugh I've had in months! Wish I could tell you guys this is surprising but it's nothing new at all. Mr. Fraud at his finest! ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
Good point about the Road Runner service. LOL! Ok, I can laugh in peace now. Truly sad. ------------------ ?
I see what you guys are talking about, and I've noticed some snide remarks lately, but I have to admit--I don't read every thread in the BBS (for shame!), and I'm not completely privy to what's going on. Everyone in this thread seems to totally know what's going on--except me. Anyone care to tell me all the sordid details. (not the part about replying to ones post to generate interest in another site--I figured that one out for myself; I'm talking about the behind the scenes stuff that may have been mentioned elsewhere in this BBS) I love a good scoop as much as the next guy (heck, might be I enjoy it as much as the next girl) Anyway, if you don't feel like posting it, I can be reached at: r.l.hablinski@worldnet.att.net ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
I can't believe its Frank. No way he needs to talk to himself to promote his site. HAHAHAAHA (Off Chair laughing) ------------------ Now that the NBA season is over, check out the premiere source for draft info. Draftsource.net
AH HA!!! I FOUND A FUNNIER LINK... WASABE PART 2 ------------------ Now that the NBA season is over, check out the premiere source for draft info. Draftsource.net
rf34 (that was funny by the way) are you going to have a mock draft? Either in the lottery forum or on your own website? ------------------
Looks like old Frank is hurting for people coming to visit clutchcity.com. There are lots of ways to get people to your site but sending psuedo-messages/replies to yourself isn't one of them. I suspect that most Clutch City regulars, like myself, have long ago deleted the clutchcity.com URL in favor of clutchcity.net - as it should be! ------------------ "Who Wants To Be A Rocket?" - and probably a millionaire as well. The off-season will be interesting!
The best way to get visitors to your site is to have a site worth visiting. ------------------ "No one gets out ALIVE!" SaveOurRockets.com
Clutch, Jeff- What happened with Rivals and Clutchcity teaming up? I remember that Rivals is one reason that we're able to get our statistics and other info. Why does the link to Clutchcity.com forward us to Rivals? Thanks elie17 ------------------
Pole, Did you used to work at Sportstown in Houston??? Just curious....recognize the name. ------------------ HOOP-T Hey Shaq, Acme called, and they want their bricks back!
Muahahahaha!!!!! That was just too funny!!! What people stoop to these days shouldn't be laughed at though. Desperate times means desperate messages? Or replies? Or...well that is funny as hell!! ------------------ Live Rocketball. Breathe Rocketball. Die with Rocketball.
Elie: The .COM site you are referring to is a completely different place from ClutchCity.NET, literally and metaphorically. Clutch moved the site from .COM to .NET last year after a series of problems with the other domain host. Essentially, the current "owner" of .COM sold the site to Rivals so it now forwards there. Clutch can elaborate better than I, but, as I understand it, the person who owns the Rivals site never has had any affiliation with the site we've always known and loved that exists at ClutchCity.NET now. Clutch and the community of ClutchCity.NET supporters make up the only real home of Rocket fans on the internet. All other sites that make that claim are dilluding themselves. ClutchCity.NET has been nothing but supportive of the community of Rockets fans on the internet. I should know. Long before I was a columnist/admin/helper here at ClutchCity.NET, I was a HUGE fan and close follower of the site. Of course, there are other cool fan sites around that have Rockets info and are partners in this community with ClutchCity.NET although, I certainly do not count the aforementioned .COM site among them, but there is ONLY ONE ClutchCity and, by reading this, you are participating in one of the finest communities of fans anywhere on the internet. If you don't believe it, check out fan sites for pro sports teams and compare them. As you can see for yourself, there IS NO comparison. If I sound like there is some hero worship here, there is. Honestly, I owe much of my knowledge of HTML, some of my best experiences and Save Our Rockets to Clutch, himself. He has been nothing but encouraging, professional and incredibly helpful since I "met" him in 1996. Nothing against other fan sites out there (of course places like AstrosConnection.com are cool too), but I can't think of a better place to hang out on the internet. I've made a lot of cool friends here and shared some stories that I probably wouldn't share with family members, but no one here feels like a stranger to me. From Will to Kagy to Keely to Rob in Spring to heypartner to Mango to Bob Finn* to...GOD, I can't think of them all...I feel like a part of something really cool. Everyone here should really appreciate what we have. It is unique and rare. OK, I'm done praising. I relinquish my soapbox. ------------------ "No one gets out ALIVE!" SaveOurRockets.com
Hoop-T No Sportstown here; I used to bartend at a few places in Houston and Nacogdoches, and my fiance and several friends live in Dallas. We could have possibly crossed paths that way. I must assume that your last name is incorporated in your e-mail. Forgive me, but I didn't find it familiar. ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
