Wicked Dunk This game had some unbelivable plays, they stomped Mizzou. These guys play six freshman. Looks like that Drew guy is gonna have Baylor competeing with the likes of Kansas and Texas in a few years if not next year. I looked it up to find out who their players were, they had the #9 ranked recruiting class last year, and #21 ranked this year and they only have two players commited so far. They also have commits from two nationally ranked players in 2007. Supposedly that have the inside track on Darrel Arthur this year. If they got him their lineup would include two guys over seven feet, three 6'9"-6'10" and some flashy point guards, an don't forget that they are all highly ranked. Crazy, I don't know how he has done it.
i seriously doubt darrel arthur goes to baylor. sorry, but i don't see one of the nation's top 20 players going to a school that didn't even have a non-conference schedule this past year. it doesn't make sense. baylor has been recruiting very well under their new coach and i do expect them to get better over the next 2-3 years but i don't see arthur going there.
oh and by the way, darrell arthur is most likely to sign with Kansas, just read a report on rivals.com.
This is an excellent example of how to play against a full-court press. Oh, look! There are three defenders at mid-court pressing the guard. That means there's nobody in the lane! Time to attack the basket. Somebody please forward that clip to Rockets. For some strange reason, it seems that, regardless of what players or what coaches we have, we never play well against a full-court press.
