    Peter John Ramos is his name. I have read some conflicting stuff about this cat but heard enough good to post this flier. Anyway, the guy is 18 and plays in Puerto Rico, the league he plays in there is supposed to be comparable to a euroleague. The guy is 7'4'' and 275 lbs. Also, he is supposed to have the athleticism of a guy much smaller (read he can run and jump). If half the things Ive read are true, this guy might end up being the Yao stopper in a couple of years...

    Wouldn't he be nicer as a teammate, i.e., a Yao back-stopper.:D

    Not saying much since Rasho Nesterovic is a Yao-stopper too...

    Anyway, do you know if/when he's projected to come into the NBA Draft? Sounds like a decent project/potential kid.

    yeah, thats where the conflicting part is. basketball skills aside, if the guy is that big and that athletic (which really hasn't been repudiated by anybody) he's going to be a force.
