As of the current standings in the West, these will be the playoff matchups: 1. Rockets vs. 8. Warriors Warriors lead season series 2-1 2. Hornets vs. 7. Mavericks Hornets lead season series 2-1 3. Lakers vs 6. Spurs Spurs lead season series 2-1 4. Jazz vs 5. Suns Jazz lead season series 2-1 I know this could change in a matter of days but how exciting are all these playoff matchups in the first round. Usually it was the #4 vs #5 matchup that gained all the interest in previous seasons but all these series can easily go to a game 7. I don't know about you guys but I'm actually looking forward to watching all the other series in the West, and I would not be surprised if they all result in upsets.
