    Just look at the picture.

He must have worked his butt off to get in that shape. Remember the real skinny guy who played in the NCAA Finals?

He bulked up to 6'10 235 pounds and should be able to play PF in the league. This could easily let him move up the draft charts.

I think he would be a GREAT pick for the Rocks for the 15th pick, he can play SF..has a good shot..can also be a valuable backup playing big minutes

I said that Jeffries would surprise a lot of people. He's got great handles and court awareness. Now, with the added size, he'll be more impressive.

Judging by the skills Jeffries already had in college, the fact that he had the work ethic to get into THAT good of a shape so quickly is more than enough reason to take him at 15, in my eyes. That is quite impressive, and a work ethic like that can go a long way towards a player adapting to the NBA game and improving his other weaknesses as well.

Depending on his workouts, I don't think he'll be there at #15.

    Jeff,

This means pick 15 has it's value skyrocketing.

    Clutch,

you're probably right. But it's better that he worked his ass off and be picked high (dropping another good quality player to #15) than him being a lazy butt goof who the Rockets wouldve passed on and fell even later on down.

Just wish that Eddie Griffin looks the same after the offseason.

In my book JJ is the #3 pick in the draft. People make too much of the NCAA final game and forget that the kid took his underdog team almost single-handedly to that game. Anyone who saw the Indiana-Duke game can't be serious about taking Dunleavy ahead of Jefires.

Did anybody notice that the Suns invited Amare Stoudemire back for a second workout? Somebody good has to fall to #15. However, I still have high hopes we can trade up to #10 through #12.

Getting any lower IMO would probably cost us a player that we need. That way we get at least one of the following players: Nikki T, Stoudemire, Jeffries or Hilario (he could room with Oscar). Nachbar, Marcus, Haislip and Ely will still be there at #15. I pray Borchardt and Haislip are taken before #15.

Sorry, thumbs, but you need 9 signatures on your CC.net account to get elevated to the next class level: your parents, Stern, Clutch, your agent, Turbo, the Shanghai Sharks, Jeff, and, of course, your own. :D

While I know hard work can yield results like that, I can't help but be concerned about the rapid change in his physical appearance. It's too easy for people to get their hands on steroids & other performance enhancing drugs these days. I'd definitely want to question him & his trainer (assuming he has one) about their techniques. If possible, I'd have him take a drug test, before I used a high pick on him. I'm not sure if the CBA would allow that though.

I have a feeling that at first all this extra bulk he has added to his arms will affect his game. Once he plays with it and gets used to it though, he should be a really good player. Watching him in the tourney, I didnt think that he would make anything of himself because I thought he was way too skinny. Now that he is added all this bulk, maybe he will be much better.

I wish Griffin would do that. If Griffin could add a solid 15lbs in muscle, that would be great.

Jeffries is really smart. He saved himself from being a tweener. Croshere should take his advice.
