hi trusty bbs, i'm taking the girl out to a chicago bulls game and trying to get tickets to a game against the nets in april. however, the cheapest i can find off ticketmaster is $55 a pop for nosebleeds. i don't have a lot of money or internet savvy other than google, and i was wondering if anybody knew any website other than ticketmaster where i might get a cheap deal on tickets? anybody know any promotions website or anything where i might get a deal? people around these parts seem to know a lot about these kinds of things, so i figured id ask.
I recommend trying www.stubhub.com, it is a site of people listing tickets they own for sale, sort of in an eBay style but at a fixed price. You can find the game and then sort by your price range to find the best seats in that range. It works great and has a really good reputation. I second this. Sometimes on the NYC craigslist people give away tickets for free to Yankees and Mets games. My brother went to a Jets game and an Editors concert for free last year this way.
