Slickdeals.net has a bunch of free offers. I'm probably getting 15 magazines for free right now.

If anyone sees free Maxim, please post. I wouldn't pay for it, but if it's free...

Entertainment Weekly? They should be paying you $10/year to read that...

Aye...and ESPN Mag that I use for tp.

For the financially inclined, this link might give you 52 weeks worth of Barrons newspaper. It's worth a try...

My free two year subscription just ended last month. I couldn't find a link anywhere for a free subscription so I resigned myself to pay a measly $6 for a year...

No. Never give your credit card for any "free subscriptions", and you'll be fine. They could ask you to resubscribe by giving a cc, which you aren't forced to do. The very most they can do is cancel the subscription midway.

Since it's free, you don't have to give out your real name...

    whoa!

This is really cool, if it works. It said my subscription would start in 3-7 business days.

You can get free digital versions of the latest issues of Electronic Gaming Monthly and Games for Windows (formerly Computer Gaming World IIRC) from these links:
    http://www.zinio.com/delivery?issn=1058-918Xd&of=PI1&bd=1&rf=eb_2005 (EGM)
    http://www.zinio.com/delivery?issn=0744-6667&of=pstart&bd=1&rf=voodoo (GFW)
You need to create a Zinio account and install the Zinio software reader though. Sign in to these links every month to get the newest issues via Zinio (should be under "check for publications", but you have to sign in at the webpage first every month before doing that...slightly annoying). There might be some others, but that's all I know of.

Pretty decent magazines if you're into games IMO. They usually get exclusive stories and screens before any other sources (online sites or other magazines). In recent months, EGM has had exclusives on God of War PSP, EndWar, Ratchet & Clank PS3, BioShock, Splinter Cell 5, and more. I think they have an exclusive in their next issue regarding new entries in the Soul Calibur franchise.

Who actually takes dumps long enough to read a magazine? You shouldn't even have enough time to crack open the magazine? In- N -Out. Looks like somebody needs their Fiber.
