I have a condo with a huge basement.

I don't want to invest 10's of thousands of dollars refinishing it (it is now concrete walls/flloor) but would like some ideas on refinishinig it on a budget. I don't expect to entertain just maybe an excercise room, my computer stuff, a tv and an old couch. I want it to look decent not great.

    Any ideas?

You can do like my friends did in college and paint KISS on the ceiling:

We went over to a pretty nice house in Austin and they had concrete floors throughout the entire first floor. They sell a cement paint for indoor cement and it looked pretty good. You might want to slosh some of that on the floor, get a couple of rugs...maybe paint the walls...there you go.

There is also a way to polish indoor concrete floors...I'm not sure you could do it yourself...but maybe you could just rent the right equipment...don't know.
