I love Morey but not trading CB and Prince for Tmac was a dumb move. CB is a proven playoff commodity with a Finals MVP on his resume. Now he's tearing CP3 a new one in Denver after all the writers wrote him off and predicted for CP3 to dominate the match-up.
im pretty sure Gordon is a free agent, and more of role player. and im also pretty sure that Hinrich forgot how to play basketball. the guy straight up sucks. i'll never understand the love affair people have for him on this board. billups would be nice, but his contract isnt summer 2010 friendly. i know we probably wont get d wade or anything, but it takes us out of ANY long shot or possibilities.

Some of you people crack me up. We won 55 games last year with T-Mac leading the way and Yao missing half of the season. After which we went "all in" by adding Artest. T-Mac playing well, Yao coming back healthy and with the addition of Artest. You mean to tell me you were really going to mess with that?!?! Sure, in hindsight it's easy to play this half-assed "OMGZ T-Mac sukkzz, we shoulda TRADED him 4 Billups/Prince when we had da chance!" card but forgive me for not being so naive and pretending like I knew better like some of you are doing. None of you pretend armchair GM's had any clue things with T-Mac were going to play out the way they did.
Does anyone know if this trade proposal was actually rejected by Morey. Or did Morey actually proposed this trade himself, but was rejected by Denver.
Ok to clarify: ROCKETS OFFERED Billups and Prince for Tmac PISTONS COUNTERED: Hamilton and McDyess (maybe Prince it was being talked about) for Tmac Rockets didn't accept because they wanted Billups. Oh well we have $23 million expiring in the best FA class ever. No big loss.

No way it was Hamilton since the Pistons wanted out of Billup's long contract. Hamilton would have been even better than Billups in my opinion.
