I'm going to the game tonight, and I was hoping to see Ariza. I'm just glad Budinger got the start though. Our bench is going to be weak on the wing tonight.
Look, Landry is awesome, but we don't need the paint getting crowd with Landry/Scola/Hayes. Starting Budinger is just fine.
actually i am looking forward to see Taylor get some meaningful minutes tonight hopefully he can be a nice surprise too
I don't know about you guys but I'm excited to see what he can do playing starter minutes. We've seen what he can do coming in cold off the bench. Now let's see what he can do for 20 minutes.. I hope tonight isn't one of those nights where he cant hit anything. Since JT is likely to be his back up (If adelman doesn't choose to play AB and Lowry together) he cant afford to have a bad game. Even though I'm eager to see JT play too I don't expect him to do much. Lets see if playing Batteriza with the first team is truly the cause of their offensive struggles.
Too bad Ariza is apparently going to be a starter here regardless of his play. I hope Chase at least plays well enough tonight to make Adelman think about giving a few more of Trevor's minutes to him.
Makes perfect sense to me. Let's see what C-Bud can do playing starters minutes. This may be Jermaine taylors first and only chance to see meaningful minutes. I can see him being used as trade bait later this season.
You guys thought Landry was the favorite to start at SF? What gave you this idea? I think some here are putting too much stock in starting.. this isn't high school/middle school basketball.. no one cares with the exception of AI. They just want minutes and to be there when it counts.. Plus.. who here thinks Carl can actually guard a SF? Show of hands? I thought so..
Anyone who thinks he can didn't watch Lamar Odom (not exactly the quickest SF in the league) blow by him like a traffic cone repeatedly in last year's playoffs.
