A few buddies and I were kicking some things around the other night during the Memphis game and we came up with this analysis of the role that Charlie Ward needs to play.... Basically we see him as our modern day Kenny "The Jet" Smith. We nicknamed him "Charlie the Propeller". Our thoughts were that his role is to bring the ball up the court with minimal turnovers, get it to T-Mac or Yao and then move around and get open for the 3pt shot. In the last couple of games teams have been leaving him wide open so if he can just be consistent in knocking down a handful of tres in each game then we should be in good shape.
