God bless Charles, he is money in the bank!

    Charles on the zone:
"The league is just using the zone to help bad players"

    Charles on his reputation:
"I'm not here to protect my reputation, I'm here to make my reputation. Mama Barkley didn't raise no chumps"

Charles basically said he is supporting MJ but he doesn't want him to do anything to hurt his legend or legacy. He also said in a comment earlier that the only way the Bucks or 76ers could beat LA were if NBC were to rig the games. Bob Costas' reaction was classic. He was the perfect guy to interview Chuck. Just classic!

Bob Costa reaction was something like "NBC, rigging game? Surely we wouldn't do something like that" basically joking about it. Pretty funny.

What was his reaction to the statement about NBC rigging the games? Did he say something or was it just an expression?

I loved it when he said, "There's no chicken in here!" meaning he was not afraid to come back and play with all the other young NBA players.

But he just made it too easy..... too many jokes... [IMG]

Here's the link to the interview:

    http://www.msnbc.com/news/579190.asp

Says he's been working out 5-6 hours a day

Down to 290 lbs from 336 lbs

Says the zone will help increase his rebounding

Feels Kobe at 22 is better than MJ at 22

Wont come back if he feels he cant compete at a high level

I hope he doesn't come back. He and MJ need to learn what the word retire means.
