C'MON TMAC! FORCE GOING TO THE HOLE! i'd be fine if he got 3 offensive fouls forcing the action inside. the fact is if he drives, he gets to the lane and he draws fouls. that creates shots and forces sloan to continue to mixup his lineup. open shots are good. and so is keeping utah from gaining chemistry on the court.
it really depends how the defense is playing. t-mac takes jumpers because when he drives he'll have three defenders collapsing on him.
i'm pretty sure barkley was never a fan of jvg. he hates watching the offense of the rockets and has criticized it multiple times, and downplays their defensive success by saying it's easy to hold teams to low points when you play so slow. but i am glad he called out tmac. all that mvp buzz probably got tmac's head up in some clouds and he forgot how to make shots and get to the rim.

I usually despise anything that comes out of that guys mouth, but for once he is right. Haha, yeah we are so confident we just feel like winning in six rather than the sweep.
Barkley picked the Rockets to win and as a darkhorse to go all the way along with most other national analysts too. It's funny that he pulls for Boozer to come up big and speaks little about the Rockets as his team to pick, but it's the truth. I think the reason the TNT crew can be so tough on the Rockets is because he knows that they're capable of achieving a lot. Sort of like unrealized potential.
I agree he needs to get to the basket more, but its not that simple. Utah is focusing its entire defense on him whenever he gets the ball. Whoever is guarding Chuck Hayes pretty much leaves him and traps Tmac, forcing him to take a tough jumper or pick up his dribble and pass the ball. We are going to have to get our entire team going to free up Tmac, because right now Utah's defense is geared up to stop our big 2 and force Battier, Head, Alston and co beat them.
