Charles Barkley on ESPN Sports Century right now......

I miss the first 30 minutes of it, but this was a great show.

I still can't believe how much a jerk Quitten is for saying what he said about CB and his sorry ole butt.

 

For all of the young guys who didn't get a chance to see Chuck, watching him again you realize how special he was. It will never be a package like him again.

 

I got into basketball around 92-93 so I got to see a lot of Chuck and realized how damn good he was (especially at 6'5") but OMG watching tapes of him from his first few years he was unbelievable. I still don't understand how he jumped so well. Did you see that one fastbreak he was on where he had to have jumped from 12 feet out and dunked it two-handed. Damn that was sweet.

And all of those quotes they had from him towards the beginning were just classic. Man we need more quotesmith's like him.

What sucked was I had to leave before the Houston part of his career cuz the cafeteria was closing at 7 and I had to eat. Oh well, still a good show.

 

Sorry Manny, "Can't believe" and "jerk Quitten" don't belong in the same sentence. It is not like we weren't warned or that Blazers players and fans were not warned.
