Things I can't wait for...(besides the season)... First of all, if anyone remembers the 2002 NBA Draft when Charles Barkley said that Yao was going to be a flop. Kenny Smith, like he so often does, just followed along with Charles like a puppy. You know that TNT and Ernie Johnson will have Charles talk trash about Yao, then freak Charles out by telling him about a surprise guest...Yao, meet Charles. Then, they will go on to "Kenny's Court" where Charles can try to post up Yao! Ha! Next... Dicky-V said that Houston made a mistake in Drafting Yao. Also, The Best Damn Sports Show, Period, will want to invite Yao on the show. Jim Rome will want to interview Yao too. Just wait.
I don't remember Charles bashig Yao, I guess I was to hype about the draft itself. But Kenny Smith usually have an opinion of his own ( the times I have watched TNT Sport Show), but oh well Yao will just have to make them eat there words.
I seem to remember him bashing him a little. I think he said something about him shooting nothing but 3's and I think he said he's too skinny. Something like that, anyway.
Charles was only giving his opinion on the matter, isn't that what he is paid for? I seriously doubt that Charles will keep that opinion, once he sees more of Yoa. But until then, Charles must have only heard one side of the Yoa situation. I mean, how much would Charles have seen of him anyway?
