meh.. he's entitled to his opinion. Barkley was the reason why I became a Rockets fan.

But I definitely disagree with him. IMO

lol...I don't think Barkley "hates" Houston as much as most people here believe. As much as Charles is usually wrong..he was the ONLY person saying he believed Houston was STILL going to beat Sacramento even though we were down 2 games.

 

He's entitled to his biased, uninformed opinion.

 

Yea I'd say there is only one elite team in the West, which is unfortunately the Warriors. Outside of that, I think there is a legitimate case for HOU, LAC, SA, OKC, and MEM. I wouldn't be surprised to see any of those 5 teams being 2-7. Basically Barkley is going to Barkley. He also swore that a three point shooting team would never win a championship, when the last 2 teams to win have done it largely by the 3 point line. His opinion is worth nothing, and he will continue to spew the same crap over and over again until proven wrong. So yea, the whole grain of salt thing and what not.

It's amazing how little attention that Houston-Sacramento series got.

Well whoever cares should stop and rethink what matters in life.

 

There would be no thread on Clutchfans if Shaq didn't mention the Rockets in the top 4.

 

I don't understand why people get so worked up about what others have to say. No matter what the Rockets do, someone will say something negative. Don't think so? Look at Golden State. They won the title, and people still criticize them how they do it.

If the Rockets ever win a championship again, there's gonna be some bulletin board material from at least one person in the media. It's time to get over it.

 

People are still criticizing the Rockets championships despite back to back and having one of the greatest players in history, you have fake Rockets fans joining the board because they feel like they want to crusade for their favorite player. It's easy to spot them because they don't really know why this place is called "Clutch fans"

 

There would be no Rockets in the WCF last year if Shaq's and Barkley's opinions mattered.

every year people here post what media people think.

I agree that it only matters what is done, but the social media generation needs affirmation outside themselves to feel relevant.

I'm sure you are on face book and have people who posts selfies that want you hit the like button.

Everybody on TNT goes out of their way to not mention the Rockets or even Harden, it's ridiculous. That being said, I totally understand having the Rockets below Warriors, Spurs & OKC. They are the 3 elite teams for me. Rockets are right after and mainly our defense and health is why. If they would just acknowledge we are very deep and are worried about our defense with Ty & Harden, Dwight not available in a lot of games and our big men's health then there would be little problem with what they say.
