Many here have said and I do agree that we need yao to be "mean" on coart and likewise make his teamates realize he's not happy when he fights to get open only to not get the ball. He should learn to demand the ball more and react quickly when he gets the ball instead of waiting for the double team to come. Dont just pass out of a double team all the time, attack it sometimes , mix it up .

Being the hard worker that he is the skills will continue to develop but as far as the attitude its something that I just dont see changing without outside help . He is just naturally too nice of a player He is working on his skills a lot but someone needs to help him work on that on coart attitude he needs to have.

Dwight Howard is such a nice man to but he plays like his size on coart.

PS By the way now that Yao is married does he and his wife live on their own or with Yao's parents (which should not be a surprice since this is common among chinese people regardless of social status that the parents live with one of thier child ) ??

Yao doesn't need to be mean or has to swing elbows. He needs to be aggressive when attacking the basket or going for rebounds.

Gotta get off the ground quicker since he can't jump and has small hands.

Let us be at least accurate! Yao's leaping ability seems to be limited to about 24" and his hands are large but not what one might expect from a 7'6"giant.
He lacks the mobility to be a great rebounder.
