hey guys, i know there isnt an actual thread for this but its talked about a little bit in every topic. figured itd be nice to have one topic we can share our changes to the team. so i have 2K6, here are some of the recent changes ive made Trades +traded battier for swift Additions +added bonzi +added snyder +added padgett Created Players +created hayes (bad outside shooting, decent interior game, but i set rebounding to 90) +created lucas (average shooting, really fast) +created spanulous (average shooting, really fast, durable, can penetrate) +created novak (a specialist, 3 point shooter) Subtractions -sent wesley to the cavs -cut bowen -cut jacobson -cut sura Current Roster PG: Alston, V-Span, Lucas SG: Bonzi, Snyder, Head SF: Tmac, Padgett, Novak PF: Battier, Howard, Hayes C: Yao, Deke
A lot of those changes are already made for you in nbalive07. But I still had to create kill bill and novak. I think I kind of made them superstars.
be fair if u made rudy gay for memphis at least. they get totally snubbed for battier and swift trade.
just kidding guys, LFE171 and i are good buddies in the real world. but when referring to the rookies i actually havent decided who will make a big enough impact to created so far i have a certain number in mind - morrison - gay - roy - barnani no idea who else can even make a dent in the league though. who do you guys think i should creat if you had to pick 5 rookies
marcus williams, b roy, bargnani (only cause he's a #1), lamarcus aldridge (UT alum myself), rudy gay, morrison, and ty thomas. yeah i think those are pretty damn important... oh and of course id make vspan and novak
FYI for created players, the jersey numbers are Hayes - #44 JL3 - #15 Vspan - #10 Novak - #20 What were the ratings you ended up with for those players? Does anyone know if there is a way to change the jersey number of a player already in the game? i.e. Batter is listed as #41 and should be #31. Bonzi is using #6 instead of #42.
To me, Chuck Hayes having 90 at rebounding is a bit of a stretch. But I still don't get how Yao ming still has a less than 90 overall rating, even after a 22-10 season. What must he do to earn EA sports' respect? Oh yeah, to anybody who plays Dynasty mode, is it true that the player's ratings go down as they age? Because I've got a T-Mac and Dirk on my team (traded Stro for him ) but they've lost their super-star status entering the 2011-2012 season.
great thread, I love it! I have both NBA2k7 and Live 07. The 2k7 blows the live out of the water. I made accurate rosters for each NBA team....but I'm having a hard time making a decent Chuck Hayes, John Lucas III, Vassilis Spanoulis, and Steve Novak. If anyone can help please do. Mind look soooooooo warped. My Chuck Hayes looks like Sam Cassell, my John Lucas looks like Gary Coleman, my Spanoulis looks like Ben Afflect, and my Steve Novak looks like the Drew Carrey hoola skit look-a-like that won the red rowdy contest. I guess I suck at CAP's. Any help is appreciated. (I saw a JL3 CAp on IGN earlier, I'll post it later.)
how can i add bonzi to 2k7 when i only play quick games against my friends?...do i have to get xbox live to update the roster or is there another way?
I'm just stilled AMAZED that you can't change the jersey numbers in the 2K series, anyone know a code or something?!?
Yeah for the jersey # edits, you have to go to manage roster, then the first option (think it is manage team), then you scroll down to the player, hit the advance button (B?), then go to the edit player option, and on the first set of options hit the advance button (b?), you can change the jersey numbers there....remember to save your roster after that for the permanent change. I do have one question.... I thought I read that Novak was #13 on the Rockets roster page.....I think....is he really #20??? I could be wrong.....????

I played on a kiosk at Circuit City today (360 version) and I made a few quick changes. Added Wells, Padgett, and Jacobsen, dropped Lampe and Wesley, and put Sura on the reserved list. If I recall correctly, we went from a 79 to an 85 overall, with a 96 on defense
