I got tipped off on this by someone at 1560 just now. It's last minute, so it wasn't publicized on the air this morning, but Luis Scola is making a surprise appearance for an interview at Demeris BBQ (address is <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=2911+S.+Shepherd,+Houston+TX+77098&sll=29.738753,-95.409887&sspn=0.012241,0.01266&ie=UTF8&ll=29.739489,-95.410423&spn=0.012241,0.01266&z=16&iwloc=addr" target="_blank">2911 S. Shepherd</a>). They believe he's going to be there around 1:15pm or 1:30pm. So if you want to meet Scola, get a photo with him or an autograph, this might be a good chance to do that. You can listen online to the interview at 1560 the Game's live feed. Last time he did an interview he hung out on the air for an hour and was pretty open on a wide range of topics.
I know they plan on bringing that up... also the thread about him cutting his hair (which he's not doing).
I swear if I lived in Houston I'm pretty sure I'd be unemployed because I'd be at all these appearances!
I hope he is isnt traded I think the Rockets will regret trading away Scola.....wish I could go meet him.
This is probably because I read his blog the other day, but I had a dream last night that it was Scola that got traded along w/ McGrady .... don't remember who we got though ....

Me and the wife have have run into him at a few resturants, the wife was more than willing to punch him everytime....
i met the owner a lil while back and he ended up giving me a gift certificate for 2...now would be a good time to use it.
oh yeah, she hates the Mavs, every single one of them and I've had to keep her calm through some of the games we've been to up here over the years, esp. during the playoff back in 05 where we went to game 1 and 7.
