    thanks

wow, so sad to see Yao. He looks like he's nearly going to cry.

It hurts him so much. Gotta feel bad for the big fella.

Just can't get it done against these run and gun teams. Not his fault really.

They should have asked Bonzi about coaching decisions during the game because "trash" would have been a good reply.

I would have liked to see more of the unit we had in the 2nd quarter. They played well and got us the lead without Yao in the game.

Not sure why we did not see that lineup again in the 2nd half of the game...

    Trash!

Apparently, Warriors got used to those five and began to bite back. The reason why Rick did not put Yao to stand is that he was offered 3 fouls.

BTW, they did not have their starting lineups when we were making a 11 points lead. The beginning of 4th quartor is quite good. But when they reinforced their denfense on Yao, we failed to move the ball. It's a turnaround at that point!

Yep. Yao kinda looked like he wanted to cry at one point. Shane was clearly in a bad mood, as was Chuck Hayes. Hayes seemed to possibly have T-Mac in mind when he was talking about Boston and "when you have three superstars who want to win so badly" (just a paraphrase), as if yeah, there's a question as to whether superstars want to win so badly or not. Battier seemed to have Bonzi's mental mistakes in mind when he talked about turnovers. He seemed rather disgusted.

my take on the game is this.

were we really expecting to win this game? no, not really. it was more of an evaluation game to see how the team played with what they had.

i think the reason this loss was so tough, is because they actually came out and played a hell of a game for the first 3 quarters and had a great chance of winning. overall it was a great effort by the team until the 4th.

i think if we had yao, scola, battier, head, brooks all playing in the 4th, we would have done much better, and probably would have one it.

Our toughest players mentally should be in to close out games. I think Scola should play 12 minutes in every 4th quarter in every game. He never gives up on anything, ever. He was a big reason the team played so well. Look at how he made some huge momentum-changing plays in the 2nd/3rd quarters and how that changed everything. He scored baskets when we really needed them, and then he immediately took that charge from baron, which really boosted the team's momentum. And then he was taken out of the game...

Rafer should play in the 1st and 3rd quarters, not at all in the 4th, especially in close games. He does not produce in crunch time.

I really hope adelman realizes this sooner rather than later.

I must admit, I see some upside in the loss, in the entertainment provided by Bonzi in this interview.

    "Trash!"

I agree with a lot of what you said except that Rafer is actually a pretty decent 4th quarter performer. Scola doesn't have any give up, but he does have screw ups (who doesn't right?).

Let's face it. Until Yao and/or the coaching staff can solve how to play Yao against a faster fronting defense, he's just taking up space out there against those kinds of teams. It's all about matchup issues. Or so it seems to me.

I think that whole flu thing is part of the reason for his demeanor as well as the loss. He probably just threw up for both reasons, heh.
