Yao seems very happy to have actual options on offense.

I like that he seems to enjoy the new offense.

Man, I can really see the weight loss in Bonzi's face. It looks like there are actuals angles in his face now!

people still asking bonzi about jvg

but yeah this is a totally different bonzi, remember last year when he felt he didnt need to play preseason despite his shape? this year it seems he cant wait to get into the preseason out there with yao and the other bench guys.

one thing that really surprised me about bonzi is that he is a good passer. he made some really nice passes today, think had like 4-5 assists.

I allowed myself a good chuckle after he said, "nah man, that was that van gundy stuff."

    Hahaha! Good stuff.

A few things that stuck out to me in those inteviews.

    1. SF might be feeling like he isnt getting a fair shot at minutes/starting role/time with starters. His interview was brief, but you could definately sense he wasn't feeling too happy about the situation

    2. TMac definately wants Rafter to start. He continuously comments on "the starting five", who's coming off the bench blah blah.

    3. Bonzi all but states he wasn't acutally injured last year ever. That "it was that JVG thing, you know you have to make something up" Im paraphrasing.

I agree. Hearing these interviews makes me think about the article that said players were fighting in practice. "The starting 5" seems kind of cliquey (at least some of the comments i heard from Mac, Skip, and Battier). I hope that we don't have any chemistry issues. And yeah, SF3 seems a little disgruntled in a lot of his interviews.

i think the reporters were asking why was the starting 5/first unit was so good. all the starters comment on that. tmac simply answered a question. rafer answered the same question.

it's just that they have good chemistry together.

Don't worry . . T-Mac and his Crew can do no wrong . .they can be cliche-ish
folx will blame it all on SF and MJ

I still think T-Mac pissed about MJ waving him off :D
