He can't do that because when the MRI comes back negative he will be forced to play or be exposed. As long as he keeps the true nature of this "injury" a secret he can milk it longer. I honestly think he milked the back injury/personal problems during the 05-06 season for as many games as possible. He lost all credibility with me when he missed half the season but was well enough to try to get the MVP in the All Star game that season.
buut then he'll be out of excuses. I hate losing. I hate this. And why does anyone want to be in the lottery. wtf? he doesn't want an MRI because he doesn't want to know if it's actually worse than he thinks it is?!?!? yet, he doesn't think he can play vs. denver? since you aren't gonna play, get the mri t-mac, geez louise.
In my opinion there's two ways to look at it: 1. T-Mac's not as hurt as he thinks/says he is and doesn't want an MRI so people will know it's not as bad. Yes there is pain but it shouldn't be enough to have him limp like a pegleg and not play in games. 2. T-Mac is hurt but it's not that seriously painful he decided to play on it. If he gets an MRI and it turns out to be worse then he will not be able to play for a while. The problem with option 2 is that if he really was hurt an MRI would prove it and if he was playing on a bum knee he could really mess it up. No excuse not to get an MRI at this point, so it's kind of fishy... I will not pass judgement yet but for the above reason, things are looking bleak for T-Mac. I mean I just don't get him right now. If you are really hurt, get the MRI. You can't play on it you will mess it up worse. If you aren't hurt JUST PLAY or RETIRE or SOMETHING don't put yourself and the fans in a bad situation.
again, I do think he's hurt. just as always he's gonna embelish it more than it needs to be. get the darn mri already.
So wait, you guys are actually criticizing him for playing hurt? Then go on and say that he isn't hurt and he is just qutting? Make up your minds. Tracy misses games = We lose. Plain and simple. A hurt T-Mac gives us more of a chance to win than no T-Mac.

Yao played with an infected toe without a toenail, and he is soft and cannot be the leader. TMAC can really be the true leader by behaving this way. His magic back seems to be all fine now. It is a magic.
