Just got home from the Roast and Toast, was a complete blast, only someone like Murph could throw something together like that. It lasted a little too long, but every "roaster" was great, Van Gundy stole the show though. Yao talking to the crowd at the end was well worth the price of admission.

guests included Yao Ming, Deke, Bobby Jackson, Carroll Dawson, Clyde Drexler, Bill Worrell (MCed along with Calvin), Van Gundy, Bill Duffy (Yao's agent), ESPN Analyst Ric Bucher, Del Harris, im sure im forgetting others.

Yeah i should have written some down haha there were tons of people taking pictures so I'm sure some will be released.

And someone from our station is in the process of getting all the audio from the roast.

You can hear the roast exclusively on ESPN 97-5 The Ticket tomorrow from 5-7 on the Calvin Murphy show, and I'm sure I'll podcast it and put it on our website.

he said he cant sit at home all day wondering what impact he'd have had if he was able to play versus utah... he thinks the team has enough to beat the jazz and he's going to enjoy the playoffs

said every olympics have always had some controversy or protest or another... which is certainly true going back to berlin, munich, Moscow LA, Atlanta etc. doesn't really sound like he gives a **** about the protests, the games will go on

where's yao's wife in the pictures? she never seems to go to these functions
