Shane mentioned that we out-rebounded them on the offensive boards, but he failed to mention that if you shoot 15% less than the other team, there are going to be a lot more opportunities for those offensive rebounds.

Same thing with the free advantage he mentioned. If the other team is running a (wide open) layup drill on you, they're not going to get fouled a lot.

bobby jackson should be on the bench be a spark as a 6th man. Thats what he being doing for his career and thats what this team needs when they have hayes, mike harris, landry in there together with luther head running with the ball. I guess rafer is important as a ball carrier up court after all. Too bad game 2 will be basically the same with the pg situation

tmac had a post game interview by nba TV where he spoke to reporters. He basically talked about playing harder and making adjustments for next game and not thinking about his playoffs record

Scola's attitude is the best. The guy has a natural winning mentality and attitude. I'm glad he is on our team.

First to 4 wins takes the series. There's still opportunity, and the Rockets need to take advantage.

I hate Jackson, he and his big nose are way too selfish. Like the dude was 1-7 on his 3 pointers and he was 3-15 for the game. Since when did the worst player in the first lineup take the most shots? The guy is a bum, he wants to be the star but he is a bum.

Jackson was missing wide open three-pointers. That really got me going. That slip and fall on a fast break, too.

He just played like Rafer. I think he will turn it around.

scola and battier were the only ones playing with any fire last night. im glad we have scola because he's someone i feel good about watching even if we lose. the rest of the guys, i felt like i was more passionate about the game than they were.

bobby jackson pissed me off too. i can live with him not shooting well, i don't really expect that out of him. but that botched fastbreak was absolutely unacceptable. and next year we better find a real shooting guard who isn't shorter than 6'6 to back up tmac (if he's still here). luther head is a good kid but he's not an nba shooting guard (and he's definitely not a point guard).

Probably, because he was doing a long interview for NBA TV.

Jackson: "... and they won't be diaphragmming... err... diagramming everything that we do."

Hilarious. Let's hope Adelman diaphragms some better plays for the next game.
