    I saw the football thread and remembered that there was supposed to be a baskertball get together. Did it ever happen? These type of events should be stickied!

    It did happen, and it was the best ever. Everyone was there, we had enough players for 6 teams so we held a tournament. It was a blast! CLutch himself even showed up.

    The beer and barbecue were flowing, and it lasted well into the night. Why weren't you there?

    I don't check the hangout much and I couldn't find the thread :(. Get tired of searching through multiple pages since I don't have the search feature available to me *sniff*

    That's why those type of threads should be stickied :)

    The Hangout is the best forum on this site. Dont tell the idiots in the GARM or D&D though. They will ruin it.

    yeah it is the best forum but sometimes it moves a bit slow and I get caught up in all the ahem *DEBATE* in the GARM and DISH :D.

    I can't believe that I got picked to play on a team, even though my only move is catch the ball and pivot.... I got the pivot move down... next move, dribbling....

    It was a helluva time and thanks to the few Power Dancers that did show up!!

    Ditto. I've been around, but it seems like these are always taking place way outside of town. Stack, there is a good outdoor court (well, the court isn't that great - slippery and double rims), but the games there are good, at the YWCA at Memorial and Waugh - don't know if you're close to that, but obviously it's close the sports bar. I'm there a couple of times a week from 6-8.
