CF Fantasy Footy Website Reminder, we will be drafting this Sunday, September 3rd at 7PM CDT, at the league website draft section, which can be found on the link above. We have had to replace a few players that had to drop out, but hopefully everyone else is still on board and will attend the draft. You start the following positions: 1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 1TE, 1PK, 3UT, 1DL, 1LB, 1DB 2DP = 13 total, 7 bench players. The Draft Order: 1. PSJ 2. Fade 3. Rocketball 4. Finn 5. Castor 6. Greek 7. A-team 8. I hope everybody is planning on attending, not getting much reply here.. The website is now set up where you can enter the draft and rank your players and set your draft settings, if you won't be able to make it - but if you could let me know that would be great so the computer will auto pick yours right away and not take the full 3 minutes. Help speed up the draft. Also, the draft will start at 7PM CDT when PSJ makes his first pick....after that the clock will start, and off we go. So PSJ has all the power, first pick and the key to start it up....
So theoretically the draft could start right now and we could actually get a few rounds done before the clock starts ticking? Is that correct?
Theoretically, you could, however it is set right now for 3 minutes for each pick - so that is what would happen, it would automatically skip those that don't have the computer set to pick after the three minutes are up.
Already e-mailed Rocketball, but I'll be out of town for the draft (labor day weekend trip). I'll set pre-rankings and swift through my roster when I get back. Good luck all.
Just did my first online live draft (NFL.com) this past saturday. 90 seconds between picks. We were done in less than 1 hour (48 minutes). 5 guys (12 teams) showed up for the live draft and the rest were put on computer pick automatically. It was a great experience. Hope this one goes as smooth.
Just tried it and it worked: After entering the Draft room, I clicked on "League Chatroom" (on the left side of the page under "Commish Admin") and it opens a small box to chat with everyone (which can be moved so you can see the draft in progress) If everyone uses this chat feature while we draft, we can move things along smoother.
Yeah we definitely need everyone to do that (I'll put that on the site), didn't realize the site had that feature - that will help. At the least, we can laugh at Fade's picks... "With the second pick of the draft, Fade selects........Jeff George, QB Oak......."
in case i am late getting back from the chiro and seeing my picks are near the bottom i instruct Fade to make my picks for me.... Fade - i sent you and email and will send another with my list and my login or rocketball can enter them if you call them out
I have not heard from DeAleck and A-team....is either still planning on playing. If so, let us know, or we may have to drop to 12 before the draft. If someone is interested in taking their place as I would rather have someone from CF play then me bringing someone else in. Interested let me know - we draft tomorrow.
