I've been using Nextel for over a year now. I originally signed up for it because 90% of my phone usage is talking to my fiance, and we went ahead and signed up for the direct connect plan. Well, since then plenty of providers have come out with their own plans that have free mobile to mobile. My direct connect service and phone service itself has gotten steadily worse over the last few months, and I'm sick of it.

I know there are plenty of better plans out there, and I even checked in on some ATT/Cingular plans. One of the family plans I saw was 1500 shared minutes, unlimited nights/weekends and unlimited mobile to mobile (which would take the place of direct connect) for 84.99 with an extra 9.99 added a month for the additional phone. Currently, I pay 137 a month, and unhappy with my service. Anyone out there have a plan that is available for me to sign up with right now that is better than the one I just listed?

I don't know if my plan is still available, but regardless, T-Mobile seems to have the highest customer satisfaction ratio.

My plan is Unlimited 3000 minutes a month for $59.99.

I've never come close to hitting that, and I talk quite often on my phone.

With taxes and long-distance outside of Texas, my bill is between $70-100/month, and I couldn't be happier.

Plus, they give you a free phone upgrade every year.

I'm on the Sprint plan where it's a sliding scale depending on how many minutes you use each month. My monthly bill is between $60-70 a month.
