Just in case you dont know (cause my buddy at work found out the hard way)....many cell phones have a strip of paper inside the battery case. When exposed to water, the strip changes color.
Makes it difficult to exchange the "faulty" phone.

Yup. Luckily all my "faulty" phones have been due to other things. :)

BTW, I just got a new video camera phone as a parting gift for RM95's Fiancee's last week at Sprint. Bad ass phone. It's a Samsung somethinganother.

Man I just got busted by one of those things when I went and tried to get my cell phone exchanged. What is frustrating is the fact that, in theory, the little paper strip could get wet without the phone actually getting any water inside of it.

Can you see this strip or does your battery have to be opened?

Tell them the liquid crystal display probably caused that. ;)
