I have had T-Mobile for several years and they always seem to have the best pricing.... You are also allowed to change your plan (more or less minutes) without extra service charges. Hardly ever have dropped calls -- except around downtown. Overall -- I like T-Mobile Good Luck!
I have had Cingular for years with very little trouble. I guess I'm the only one because it seems like everyone b****es about them.
Isn't T-Mobile's coverage far, far less than Cingular's? I have TMobile and often cannot get signal within my own house, whereas Cingular is strong. The funny thing is I live about 2 miles from a TMobile store.
I don't plan on leaving T-Mobile anytime soon, but they have gotten worse recently. Now I have to pay 15 bucks a month for messaging, and 4 bucks every month for phone insurance, because the new phones aren't nearly as durable as they used to be. Plus 4 bucks a month for internet service. It just seems they've been nickel and diming their bill up a lot recently. Of course, I still have my original 3000 anytime plan for 60 bucks. Until someone comes up with a better plan than that, I'm staying.
Cingular pre-ATT was the best. Im not sure how their reception is now after the merger. I like the idea of roll-over minutes and will be switching back to Cingular after my contract expires with T-Mobile.
I have Cingular right now and don't really have any problems. I love the roll over minutes as well. T-Mobile now has that mobile network thing though to where you can add any 5 people on any network for your mobile to mobile calling. That right there alone would make me to go T-Mobile. If Cingular doesn't have that by the time I need a new plan I might be switching.
I loved T-Mobile's service, and only switched to another carrier because of the limited coverage I got with T-Mobile in my home. Check and see if there's a trial period with whichever service you're considering.
I just extended my contract with Cingular and upgraded to a newer phone. I prefer Cingular because of their network. My brother has a lakehouse in Livingston and my reception is good up there. My friends who have T-Mobile don't get any reception up there. I'm not sure if it's a network issue for them or their phones.
