I sorta happened to have lost my cellphone over the week. I'm pretty sure its around the house somewhere but I looked and I can't find it. It's also turned off to save battery so I can't even call it to find out where it is. Is there some way that my cellphone company, the cellphone manufacturer, or someone else can turn on my cellphone somehow? Like turn it on from it's off state with a phone call??
They can't turn it on but they can tell you if it's been used since you lost it. You might want to call them and have a call review just to make sure it wasn't stolen.
The best way to find a lost cell phone is to have it disconnected and buy a new one. It's best to get a different model -- a new one, with keys too small and features you can't figure out how to use -- and reception that's not as good as your old one. Even better, sign a new three year contract with a crappy company you don't like. You should find your old phone about 5 minutes after you get home.
LOL I just freakin found my phone! L I was at school and lookin through my backpack when my foot hit the front pocket and I heard a beeping sound and there she was. It was hiding underneath my bottle of gel. Phew is all i gotta say, phew.
