i went and got new cell phones today (i got a treo 700w ) and my wife got a samsung a900 - she had a motorola razr v3 - which she must return in 2 weeks to company..

anyways i never really input more than 15-20 phone numbers which i'll just manually enter into my new treo. however my wife has a few hundred contacts which she hates to consider manually transferring...

since the old razr v3 (tmobile service) and the new samsung a900 (sprint) both have bluetooth - i was wondering if anyone could walk me through linking the phones through this and transferring her contact list....
if bluetooth can link cell phones that is...

i googled this online only to have a bunch of proprietary software ads show up....

You just have to activate the blue tooth on the phones. Then go to your phone book on the one with the numbers, and tell it to send all and select blue tooth (under advance on my cell). (these are general directions. I don't have those phones, but on mine that's what I do).

To get in depth for your phones, all I can say is google some more.

ok, best way is to use a third party on your computer.

install motorola phone tools, you can google that; then transfer all files from razr to computer.

next send all files to the new phone whatever that be,,,

    its a tedious process.

and that is why the cell phone guys created sim cards.
