I was at the airport to pick up my cousin who is now going to be living in the United States now. So I see this black dude, with muscles, and he has braided hair that sticks up and what not. I look at him, and then I look at him again. Guess who it is? It's the five time, five time, okay that's enough WCW Champion, Booker T. I shook his hand and talked to him for a bit. I asked him when the WWE was coming back. He said that Smackdown! was coming back in October. He looked kinda tired, and he was talking with another fan person, and he asked him some stuff. He just said he was tired. And I added, yeah, didn't you guys just come back from Germany and stuff. I wanted to ask him about the John Bradshaw Layfield thing, but I was like, I am sure he doesnt want to talk about it. Yeah, Sucka, I met Booker T.
His son went to my high school and I remember he came to pick him up on a few occassions. He always acted like a wrestler, even when adressing his son. It was funny.
The level of notoriety needed to be considered a "celebrity" has been lowered significantly. I have no idea who Booker T is.
Anybody remember some local wrestler nicknamed "Oilcan" or "Oilman" or something like that. Black dude with huge arms and chest. I saw this dude in Bennigans once, didn't know who he was but a friend pointed out he was a wrestler. His arms had to be upwards of 30" round.
