From the guy who brought you "List Your Most Recent Alcoholic Drink Consumed" and "Name a Male Celebrity Who You Admit is Handsome", comes a new thread about famous people who you remind others of. There have been numerous times, when I am in public, that some random stranger stops me and asks, "Excuse me handsome! Has anyone ever told you that you look just like actor Jude Law?" Ok, more accurately they say, "Hey you! Has anyone ever told you that you look like a poor man's Jude Law?" Well it's true. But only if I'm having a good hair day. Other days I get other celebrity names whom I remind people of. So I've come to a conclusion that I look like a combination of the following 3 celebrities divided in 3 catagories: Name of Celebrity, [Number of people who make that resemblance] The Good: Jude Law, [4 people] Spoiler The Bad: Adrian Brody, [2 people] Spoiler And The Ugly: Shaggy (from Scooby Doo), [1 person] Spoiler So, if you're wondering what I really look like, I look 57% like Jude Law, 29% like Adrian Brody, and 14% like Shaggy. I'd like for us to use this thread as a way of describing our looks by listing names of celebrities whom we've been told we look like. OMG, this has to be either the most brilliant or the stupidest thread topic that I've ever come up with.
Maybe those people who see you as Jude Law are high, the people who see you as Adrian Brody are slightly tipsy, and the people who see you as Shaggy are stone cold sober?
I look alike a man. I was stopped in malls back in the early 90's for Luke Perry. (damn that was an easy time to get laid...) Mid 90's I got anywhere from James Garner to Mickey Dolenz. These days I get anything from Charlie Sheen to Bill Murray.
I often get that I look like Seann William Scott, except no one says Seann William Scott. They say that I look like Stiffler.
My entire life, everyone always said Billy Joel, but I am at least 100 pounds lighter than he is. Recently, at a gig, a drunk came up to me between sets and said I looked like Rodney Dangerfield. I almost punched the sumbitch, until he put money in the tipjar. I think it was the Hawaiian shirt I was wearing.
I dont look like anyone really, tho it has been mentioned here by various posters that I bear a resemblence to either The Dude or Al Snow. I dont see the Al Snow one...much closer imo to Mr Lebowski. (hence my usage of The Dude as various internet nicks.) It seems to depend on how I am wearing my facial hair as to who ppl say...Ive recently been sticking with a full beard instead of the goatee I normally sport.
I get Lenny Kravitz a lot though I'm in no where near the shape he is. Occasionally the musically enlightened individual will say Maxwell Back in High School a lot of folks thought I looked like this dude. Can you guess this classic Rockets superstar?
R2K...what can i say, except DAMN you're sexy. I don't get too many "look-alike" comments, most people ask, "are you part asian?" a smaller percentage ask, "are you part hispanic?" I've been told maybe a half-dozen times since grade school that I look like Julia Stiles and twice that I look like Kate Bosworth. I guess they're referring to their big foreheads and round faces? I can't figure it out...although I'd just call my face "pecuilar."
