cd repair kit

    are there any good products out there that does NOT remove a layer just to make it look smooth. are there anything that sort of fill up the scratches and smooth it? thanks.

    I've used car wax to smooth and fill in scratches and toothpaste to buff them out with success.

    GameStop sells some stuff for $7.99, it didn't work for my though.

    In college, certain levels didn't work on Halo because of the scratches. We took it to a GameStop or whatever, and they fixed it for three bucks.

    But I guess three bucks is too much to fix a CD. Why'd I post this?

    I used to have something called the Game Doctor. It worked pretty well.
