I heard the last moments of Charlie and CD's exchange on ESPN yesterday afternoon after Stro's press conference but I cannot find a thread with the entire recap.

Did anyone else listen to the interview? I got parts of CD's take on Stro but I would to know what he said about Malick and Vassy - I only heard the tail end of that take.

Recap will be greatly appreciated. It sounded like he touched on some really important topics.

i heard about 10 minutes of it up until he got to the badiane and VS questions

the biggest news, imo, is charlie asked him does he have any reason to believe there's going to be a problem resigning deke? cd said not at all, unless something catastrophic happens. also said it was important to him and jeff to resign barry, bowen, and deke because of the chemistry. said last years team was probably the closest group of good guys he's ever seen in his 26 years. wants to maintain that.

talked about the t-mac softball game and how barry hit one out straight over the centerfield wall. amazed how athletic he is and all the barrys.
also said how in most softball games you can throw a guy out on a ball hit on the ground but that all these nba players were beating out the throws to first.

that's about all i can remember. i think most importantly it's good to hear something about deke. we all assumed it was a no-brainer to bring him back but this is atleast a little assurance.

I wonder how many years we are going lock up Deke this year. My guess is 5 years. :) The way Deke was going last year, his age shrinks.

CD also mentioned Malick and Spina will be over seas for one more year, then they should be NBA ready.

How can they be NBA ready if they play overseas. It should be NBA tryout ready.
