Hey guys, I need to your opinions on which cd burning software should I get. I hear that Nero is great but I also hear good things about Easy CD Creator Plantinum. Which do you prefer and why?

I like Nero for CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW. Both are small installs, very configurable, and don't install a lot of peripheral apps like EZCD. It's also XP compatible (you don't have to install the upgrade patches for it to work).

Fireburner is an excellent alternative. For VCD/SVCDs I use VCDEasy. All are very affordable (under $50) and include a 30 day trial period.

I really like my Easy CD Creator... how easy is it to drag and drop files? Just click and drag MP3 files into the CD creation window and click RECORD.

I would try to find other user opinions or software reviews on http://www.cnet.com

    good luck

Easy CD Creator came with my computer and it has worked just fine for me, and I'm pretty computer illiterate! :D

I've had both . . . personally, I liked Easy CD Creator better, but Nero is great also.
