Heres some of the beginning: July 16, 2009 - Last week brought the news of the virtual bank scandal that hit players of EVE Online earlier this month. To summarize, EBank, a player-run and organized bank that dealt with EVE's fictional currency, ISKs, faced collapse after its CEO took off with approximately 200 billion in player deposits. Here the rest of it http://pc.ign.com/articles/100/1004633p1.html I thought this was freakin hilarious
I play EVE online. I never used the "Banks" but in EVE the world is brutal. You gotta be very weary of things.
I've only played the trial, never got into playing it though I was recently thinking about it. People who play online games with a virtual economy have to be smart and careful because there's a whole bunch of scams going around all the time.
Cool I play EVE-Online too, you have to give it time then it becomes real fun. I probably stopped and started about twice before it became enjoyable. When you get into 0.0 and Alliance/Corp life, it gets 10x better. Being a pirate in-game is great too .
