Nomar, I could do the deal you mentioned in chat. So officially consider me an option [IMG]

but I wouldn't really mind if it didn't happen either [IMG]

    CriscoKidd-

About that trade, can we work out something like this?

    Grizz Trade:
    Shareef Abdur-Rahim
    Morris Peterson
    2nd Round Pick

    Nets Trade:
    Antonio Davis
    Latrell Spreewell
    1st and 2nd Round Picks

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Exchanging 2nd round picks doesn't really interest me because the only 2nd rounder I have is the Kings 2nd rounder, and I expect it may be very close to yours.

However, I would be willing to exchange my 1st for your 2nd and thus allow you to nab a higher impact player.

    What about bench players.

    Rahim
    MoPete
    2nd Rounder

    for

    Spreewell
    Davis
    1st Rounder
    Bench Player

How about Gill. I think he is a better backup sf or sg than you have presently.

Last season he averaged 6points and 2 rebounds in 15 minutes.

Like maybe Tukoglu. I dont know how you value him though, since he only played 8 mpg in the preseason.

Actually I would be more interested in getting a backup PG back if I gave up Billups.

Here's an offer I thought up Cato, Mooch, your first round rookie pick for Billups, Garrett, my first round rookie pick, and Mitchell

Since we are currently 7,8 in the playoffs, unless one of us takes off/slows down, the draft picks will be about the same.

I kinda need to hold on to Turk, cuz I might have a seperate deal to work on with Cat.

If you don't want Gill I guess I could offer up Feick or Vaughn then

    VJ,

I still think your team will be good, so I'm not big on taking your first rounder for mine. Plus, Mooch has been doing pretty good-- 8 pts, 2.5 asst in 14 minutes. I'll hold on to Cato and Mooch if thats the deal...

To anyone else, any perimeter scorers (preferably young) available for a 2 for 1 or maybe 3 for 1 deal involving Cato, Mooch, Kandi, KT, Jon Barry, and Walt? Any interest in those guys?

Yeah, sorry for not responding sooner. I was about to come to it.

The first problem I see with that trade is that I have promised myself not to move a guard until I get more guards in my lineup. I know I offered you McKie, but that was an exception as you had Dirk on the table. Sometimes you are forced to break your rules when someone of that caliber is on the table.

The 2nd problem is I really like Bibby. You should get some idea to how much when you I tell you that he for me was the major piece in the Iverson deal. I don't know what Peja produce for you, but I wouldn't even to a straight up trade. In fact I don't know if I would do a reverse deal either. [IMG]

An then we have the fact that I have a 13-1 record, and that with atleast 8 games vs western GM'd teams. Hey Cat, are you sure you didnt move my team to the west? [IMG]

So I will have to decline that trade.

Nomar what trade - between you and Crisco? I havent thought so much about it, and I guess its even since I didnt do that. [IMG]

I think you did good as - hey youdidnt get an extra pick - ok you did good anyway - with a tradeupin your pick as you didnt have a first rounder before the trade. I'm not sure about Crisco, he might have overpaid with the pick swap, but this year he should be doing good. I'm not really sure - and that could mean its an even trade.

I know my opinion wasn't asked but I'll give it anyway. I think Nomar clearly won this trade, but that's probably because I am not at all impressed with SAR. Crisco does get younger and has a legitimate SF in his lineup, but I think he overpaid. I'm also not impressed with Mo Pete that much. I guess both GM's benefited in their own way, but I think Nomar benefited the most.

Maybe I should write an article...
