    Throw in your 1st rounder...

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Yup, that's the main reason I did the deal. But I lost my best player in the process. [IMG]

So when are you going to write an article about the Jazz Heath?

In the last 3 days I've given up 4 players (Coleman, Vaughn, Miles, and LaFrentz) plus 2 picks (Jazz 1st and 2nd rounders) and have gotten Larry Hughes, Dirk Nowitzki, and the Nets 2nd rounder in return.

Sounds like something worth an article...

talent-wise that is more than a fair trade. But It doesn't really help my team out. Googs would be a 3rd string PF for me, maybe a backup center, even with Davis gone. Tim Thomas would be a 3rd or 2nd string sf. That doesn't mean they are bad players, it's just that I feel I'm already strong at pf and sf. Talent-wise I would have a deeper team, but my starting 5, the players who get the most minutes, would suffer. Dang I sound like BGM now [IMG]

Bottom line is Davis is not leaving my team unless it's for a better starting center or in a move to get a star I want. So most likely he isn't leaving [IMG]

After doing some more research on the trade that pushed my team to dynasty status.

    Raef Lafrentz - 6'11 240
    Dirk Nowitzki - 7'0 250

Looks to me like Dirk is actually bigger than Raef. If LaFrentz could handle playing the C position, then I'm sure Dirk can do the same.

Other Centers that will "overpower" Dirk

    Tim Duncan - 7'0 260
    David Robinson - 7-1 250
    Hakeem Olajuwon - 7'0 255
    Alonzo Mourning - 6'10 258
    Theo Ratliff - 6'10 225
    Rasheed Wallace - 6'11 230
    Mutumbo - 7'2 265

If anything, I've actually gotten a BETTER center than LaFrentz, not just all-around player.

I want VOR to write an article about the Jazz, he always says good things about my franchise, and I think he knows what he's talking about more than Crisco Aldridge...

    deanbcurtis,

You interested in oneal + pick or player for peja? I could accept rip, austin or a first round pick in the common draft. Interested?

To others, I am interested in a two for one deal. A strong YOUNG point guard and a first round pick could land peja.

To anyone that needs a true center-- I am looking to deal one of Elden Campbell, Michael Olowokandi, and Kelvin Cato. I would like to package one of them with Walt Williams, Jon Barry, etc. for a good scorer from the SF/SG positions. If anyone wants to try out a new PG-- I also have Moochie, who is getting 8 pts and 2.5 asst in 14 minutes per game. Again, I'd be looking for a pretty solid scorer from one of the swingman spots.

The Cat, I want Cato, but I don't think he and Walt are worth either Wally, Dickerson, Thomas, or McGrady.

I have Billups, but he is more of a "1"

    VJ,

Billups does interest me some... good scorer off the bench. Who would you give with him if I were to offer Cato, Jon Barry? Not looking for anyone great, just a role player type... just curious what's available.

Would you be interested in a Rahim for Odom and a 2nd rounder swap?

    nomar,
    sorry but no..
im not making deals right now, my teams red hot and i dont want to disrupt that..i remember the carter fiasco last yr..plus rahim is injured..later on who knows but that kind of a deal really doesnt interest me anyway as i value odom and rahim the same maybe even slight edge to odom and the picks will end up being scrubs on my team
good luck to you..but im just not ur match
