Could you maybe throw in a future 2nd round pick or something?

If we decide not to have a common draft or anything, then I'll just eat the unused pick, but if we do have a common draft can I have the Raps 2nd rounder?

    BGM,

I am not sure I can. Three pieces, I understand, are a high price to pay, but dirk is a great player in my opinion. You just have to make a hard decision.

    Heath,

We might be able to work out a deal. But I would need swift in the deal.

    Camby
    Swift

    for

    Dirk

I really like Swift and I do not want to give him up yet.

I can alter the deal some, but if you want a young pf with the deal we might get a 3 way-deal going with gettinbranded. I could ship Fizer your way.

So are you saying you're no longer interested in a deal?

    BGM,

I am interested in the deal, but I need a pick. If the pick is a deal breaker, then I guess the deal is off. I am not bitter. I understand the deal may be hard for you, but I also know as soon as you get dirk you will instantly be the favorite in the west. His stats are not bloated! Also, although miles may end up getting much better, he is not there yet. It is not like your getting an old star either. Dirk is young. Dont get me wrong, i am interested in the deal, but I wont be robbed. [IMG]

Crisco, I would actually be interested in acquiring Davis.

Googs is averaging 13ppg and 8rpg in 33 minutes per game

Tim Thomas is getting 7ppg and 3rpg in 16 minutes off the bench.

Nesterovic is getting me 5 ppg, 3.4 rpg in 16 minutes off the bench.

Either of the latter two could be great off your bench

    Heath,

I am not really interested, per se, in any one position. I am interested in depth in all areas. I could be interested in camby and some picks. Make an offer, but keep in mind that I would want the highest pick in the common draft you will have, so that would have to be conditional, then another pick.

Just throwing out feelers. Shareef Abdur-Rahim could be traded for a good deal.
In fact, MoPete, SAR, and Fortson could all be moved in one blockbuster deal. Or just one of those. Talk to me people.

(Answer and KG are completely untouchable.)

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

vj, I'm not really interested in giving up my starting center for backups. Coleman is better than Googs or nester, imo, and I am stacked at sf. oh well. [IMG]

BGM - I think you overpaid to get Dirk unless he improves.

    Crisco

    1) Dirk is better than LaFrentz.

    2) Miles is doing nothing for me.

    3) That 2nd round pick will give me a bench warmer

    4) I still have 3 picks so that leaves me one extra pick to get that bench warmer with.

Its actually Crisco that have written the articles about the teams. I have just written the header articles and the one about my team. But you are free to write an article yourself too, in plain text, it's easy for me to add it into the template.

I don't want Crisco Vescey writing any biased articles about the Jazz...

It might seem like I've given up a lot the last couple days, but if you think about it, I really haven't. My bench was so deep that legitimate bench guys were stuck on the IR. Coleman and Miles are both great bench guys, but I could easily replace Coleman with Manning (who is very good despite what some of you guys think).

Miles is my 3rd stringer, what can I do with that?

I originally wanted to get rid of Kukoc, but his numbers are way too solid. Miles was doing the least for me as a starter and off the bench. LaFrentz was a solid guy, but I needed to add another scorer and Dirk will work fine replacing LaFrentz.

I basically trimmed my lineup and evened it out more along the full roster. My third team isn't that solid, but my 1st and 2nd string has gotten stronger. So whenever my starting 5 gets injured, I'll look like an idiot, but I'm not counting on that happening anytime soon.

Heath, I'll write some more soon, I'm just busy this weekend with "stuff". [IMG]

BGM, all valid points, but Dirk isn't soo much better than LaFrentz, esp when you are stacked at pf and sf, which are Dirk's best positions. Unless this is a precursor to another deal, I just think, good deal for kbm, not so great for you as it may appear.

of course, it doesn't matter what Crisco thinks. [IMG]

LOL BGM! Crisco, the deal is as close to even as it can get. I got depth and BGM got a star. If you dont believe Dirk is worth that much, just wait and see how much better the jazz play in the next couple of weeks. The guy is a 21 plus scorer at the center position, which, I might add, is very hard to find.
